Team lichess.org/team/think-rk proposes hosting a Team-Battle double-round robin RK competition.
4-5 different teams will be invited, each having a minimum 5 participants playing for their team (player numbers may change should more/less players show interest) to battle against each other in 1v1 team-battle arena's each week.
The team with the most points at the end of an arena will be awarded 3 points and the losing team 1 point.
If both teams has equal points it'll be declared as draw and both will receive 2 points.
Whichever team that has gained the most points by the end of the competition shall be the winners.
Assuming there is a 4 team battle, the round robin will last for 6 weeks.
Each team will be expected to play 6 matches, one per week.
The length of an arena will be 1 hour with a time control of 3+0.
All battles will be RK format.
The battles will be rated.
Example of how the calendar could look/work:
week 1:(gr.1) Team A vs Team B and (gr.2) Team C vs Team D
week 2: A vs C and B vs D
week 3: A vs D and B vs C
week 4: A vs D and B vs C
week 5: A vs C and B vs D
