Is Putin losing it?

He is really ramping up the Nuclear War threats lately.

Is this the worst case scenario of an aging dictator realizing his lifespan and power are coming to it's inevitable end and wanting to kill everyone else to make his own end easier?

This is what happened to Hitler at the end, he wanted everyone in Germany to suffer and die once he realized he would soon be dead/captured.

The world is becoming like Starcraft. We just need to see who is the terran, who is the zerg and who is the protoss.

Proxy war? Putin invaded the Ukraine in an attempt to conquer it. The Ukrainians are resisting and being supported with arms and finances by many different nations.

But isn't the article emphasising that there is no intention to use nuclear weapons?

All wars are US' fault cause they strong, and we're the poor victims! Backed into a corner :'( wahhhhh, surrounded by a defensive alliance that solely exists because of our genocidal, conquering behavior and subjugation of dozens of innocent countries throughout the 20th century wahhhhhh... just let us take a little land! Let me be completely clear: I do not support the brutal autocratic regime of Putin, and I do not support his criminal war, but if anyone has lost it as of late, it's France president Macron with his irresponsible suggestion of sending troops with Ukraine.

A direct confrontation would mean starting WWIII, and once WWIII has started, it's only a matter of time before we nuke each other... which in turn would lead to the total destruction of civilization, and possibly of Mankind.
