This is, of course, a "not all" statement. However, generally speaking, the lower the players rating the higher the chance they are going to be rude. At low ratings, players do not take chess as seriously and have worse etiquette. Again, not all. There could be an 800 player with a heart of gold and some 2300 that acts like an asshole. I have met both of these exceptions. When your rating rises more the players will tend to be more friendly in general.

If you think people are being rude too often you can simply block chat by turning kid mode on.

I don't think it is related to rating , we see rude and offensive and evil people in all ratings , and we see nice friendly people in all ratings as well
@snuffy_saltamontes I agree with you some times those bad people make you hate this site and make you feel that the whole site is bad people, but actually there is a lot of nice kind people you can find them easily , for example there is a team called lichess.org/team/kool-and-the-gang- this team is full of nice people and being nice is needed to join the team , good luck ❤❤❤
