Openings Variations Learning

Is it OK to go through the most common variations of all the openings with Fritz just to be able to recognize the moves later in a real game,to be familiar with the continuations etc.? is that a good way to master the openings...

I find that to choose one for white and two for black openings not enough because the black always chooses the defense and when i play as black the white chooses the opening,,,very frustrated don't know what to do!

Use memchess.com, the spaced repetition helps a ton.

Very interesting on the memchess.com. But the theory is far from complete and the theory I study isn't even available. There is two lines I selected in the theory I study and they force you into areas I have never even seen. Is this changed when you register? Like can you enter your own moves into a portfolio and study that?
