The Connecticut State Chess Association is a 501(c)7 nonprofit organization, the official U.S. Chess State Affiliate for the state of Connecticut, and a leader in chess competitions, programs and activities for Connecticut and online chess communities. Visit us on the web at https://www.chessct.org or email us at chess.CSCA@gmail.com. This team is OPEN to all ORGANIZERS offering and PLAYERS searching for PRIZE tournaments on Lichess. Calendar Rules are below for organizers interested in posting their events.

CALENDAR RULES:

  1. Event is a prize event with an official currency prize.
  2. Event has at least the minimum total prize of 25 USD or its equivalent in other currency.
  3. Event does not have unusual joining or prize payment conditions or impediments or be overly restrictive in participation.
  4. Organizer is in good standing with CSCA and Lichess.
  5. Organizer makes best effort to avoid event conflict with other prize events.
  6. Organizer immediately reports cancelled/postponed events at least 24 hours ahead of event start. Cancellation within 24 hours of event must provide reason for cancellation. Failure to abide by cancellation rule or providing inappropriate/insufficient reason for cancellation may result in suspension of posting privileges.
  7. All prizes are paid within 30 days of the posted tournament.
  8. The event does not violate any CSCA or Lichess rules.
