Bullet Games

play with increment, otherwise they will try to flag u
and u wont be playing chess u will be playing a time battle control
bullet chess is for players that have a lot of experience
otherwise u dont have time to analyze it or convert the advantage
and there are other issues, like lag, mouse
its more like a sport than a thinking game
I mean its fun but it should not be the main priority of the beginner if he wants to improve at chess
I almost dont play it for example
so my last game, perhaps its for u, I just dont like it
its very stressful
just look at my last game is that the guy is laughing at me
and saying from move one, that he is gonna flag me
and he gives a damn, about chess, opening theory
and the position and everything, just playing the time
and he almost won, it became a question of luck in the end
so at least, if u try to play bullet and play with increment
and find good moves, then its ok for me, I respect that
but if u just want to flag the opponent thats a different game
because its disrespectful to the game of kings
one thing is to make some mistakes
other thing is just forget about the game and play the clock,
which is feasible and specially if u play bullet the 30 second
time control but u wont learn anything there,
its different if uve got a lot of experience in ur head already
because then u know what u are doing and u are really
practising chess, but if u are just moving random like u dont care then u can play street fighter, and try to find crazy combos
by smashing the bottoms.
here is my last game which summarizes this way of playing
en.lichess.org/dBvz4C5RTT4n
and Im specially critizing moves like
bishop e7, bishop f8, bishop e7
I do crazy stuff to have fun as well, but its not chess so to speak
en.lichess.org/forum/game-analysis/going-crazy
if u want to learn chess u gotta go by the tough road and study
and analyze the games and etc
bullet chess is really like one skill of the repertoire that a good player has, because one cant afford to be incredible sluggish
one needs to know how to handle time pressure,
but thats just one skill of many for example positional understanding u wont get that in bullet.
anyway my 5 cent.
