The Ladder is an ongoing tournament that plays one unrated 15 10 game every Sunday. Everyone that wins gets a ranking and beating someone with a higher ranking moves you up. Afterwards we discuss the games with the players on skype.
Missing a week usually only moves you down one spot so you are not obligated to play every week and most players don't.
