The war will weaken Russia so it is no longer a threat to Europe. I don't know how much damage the Russians will do to Ukraine, or if they will conquer it. The war will not be worth it for Russia.

A primary goal of the war was to bolster Putin's power in Russia. He thought he could take Kiev and install his puppet leader and then use that success to stay in power for 20 more years.

It's absolutely insane and horrible from every point of view when you can't affect it much, but must participate.

And when you have resources and time and have awareness - it's perfectly clear who is right and who is wrong - and clear this is test of humans in general.
Test, if people are able to put away their tik-toks and damn to provide help to others in troubles before this troubles spread to their own homes.

Seriously, study North Korea case and videos. They are lost nation, lost in time and madness, they even may never progress - that's sort of jail with mental deviations as standard in which reasonable free person will be forcefully "healed". People run from North Korea under bullets - and soon may start to run from Russia in same way.

If Russia wins, it will continue to join efforts with countries like Afghanistan and Belarus and NK to spread this psychopathic jail in which every white is black - the only way they accept - preferably to the whole world.

And one day there will be no place to run.
Only problem is that you can't recognize value of things until you lose them. Some people in Russia already conscripted, which practically means that even their lives already do not belong to them (against will).

Russia could be so important and fruitful part of civilized world, and instead of spreading madness and deaths could help to eliminate threats like Afghanistan. And even next possible China problem in which there is current trend for oppression. But instead all around is fooled by fake media webs and bunch of smart and careful, but mentally ill monkeys managed to strangle whole country and now they want next victim.

Russia is too big a country, so it could not become part of the "civilized world". There is one hegemonic country in the modern world, and it is closely monitoring that there is not even a hint of a threat to its current status.

It is not Iran, it is not Kazakhstan and it is definitelly not China. (They are very strongly *against* the annexation.)
