still be able to see ur own games, even if an opponent of urs decides to clear his history of games

We should keep access to all the games we played without restriction no matter what our opponents do with their accounts.

Afaics, this makes complete sense...I wonder how they got the idea in the first place
If you know the opponent's username, you can still access the game by going to your profile and using the advance search feature. ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶g̶a̶m̶e̶s̶ ̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶d̶e̶l̶e̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶h̶i̶d̶d̶e̶n̶.̶

EDIT: It seems the problem is the account was deleted and not closed. I assume the games were removed due to terms in Lichess' privacy policy here: lichess.org/privacy
pairing is the cornerstone here... i think we sign a contract of minimal collaboration when we participate in conversations and (or? trying to be concise here...) accept or propose to play a game (the chat and notes being either private solo, or private pairwise, or not).

edit: ok read previous post..thanks, for that hypothesis. Isn't there a saying about baby's bathwater and throwing it through the window? (old times, that saying, i recently realized, but i have heard it often...).

Pssst... Did you type the unicode for all the characters, or is there some input box syntax to apply to the whole sentence?

Nope. His Repertoire Was leader there, so he requested to the mods to delete all his games
