determinism vs free will

Yes, everything is determined in the sense that nature governs all and nothing can't be changed.
And everything is free will in the sense that we can use time travel to know future and change it on our own.
You know this question is still being debated.
But in my opinion, it really doesn't matter. There are signs of determinism everywhere. If only 1% of our life is free will, that's everything and we have to fight for it.

There's a law of karma which determines the reaction to our actions. We choose our actions out of our free will.

If you dive off a cliff, you can't decide halfway down to fly back to where you just took off.
Well, you can decide to do it, but it won't go down quite so well.

One way to empower freewill is to fuel it with Technology, as Technology magnifies the impact people can have in our world, as they use their freewill in that way, after understanding the specific technologies.

Now, I dont trust everyone with all Technology, even though I admire the intelligent contributions made to Technology. I dont trust human nature multipled by a large magnitude. Therefore, how can we trust people when more of Technology's genie is out of the bottle?

Technology is a double-edged thing.
Maybe you are right about human nature. Thomas Hobbes says "Man is the wolf of man"
We see the effects of technology everywhere. Positive and negative. But I think at least at the present time, technology has a more negative effect on free will than a positive effect. Maybe we have not yet found a decisive way to use technology properly and we will do so in the future. I think so because we are now overwhelmed by technology.
