How do you show affection for those you love?

I'm trolling them. They even like it.

Hugs, kisses and if the mood is right maybe even spankings ;)

I like to cook for others. I'm not very good at cooking, and I offer a pretty limited repertoire, but mostly it's comfort food so it tends to go through the stomach to the heart.
I also like to stop what I am doing and sit with them, quietly engage with them if they're inclined to talk. Physical contact (hugs, snuggles) when appropriate. My youngest daughter is very demonstrative in her affection, she gives and gets a lot of hugs to/from both parents. My older daughter is much less demonstrative, so her space gets respected. Besides, wouldn't it be a little creepy for an old man to be hugging a teenager?
