Doubles Chess Suggestion

I think it would be a lot of fun to have a Doubles Chess variant, similar to the Mixed Doubles chess that goes on at some chess tournaments. How it works is you get paired up with a partner, and you play against two other players. You and your partner take turns making moves for your side, and your opponents do the same. No talking is allowed with your teammate so you can't strategize together. You just have to go with the flow!

I know there would be the occasional troll who makes terrible moves, but these players could be reported and then banned, either from playing the variant or from playing on Lichess totally. Overall I think the pros of being able to play such an interesting variant outweigh the cons of any potential griefing.

Let me know what you guys think.
Just wanted to tell you of a very old chess variant...circa 1858. Its called "four handed chess" or the" Hughes game" as described in Frere"s chess handbook. Its a board that has two additional rows of squares on all four sides of the board...thus four can play at a time and be doubles partners. I've played it... and its very fun. :]
How would you make the difference between a troll and someone who's simply not playing well? I sometime see my level deteriorate for some reasons, and can play really bad moves, but wouldn't like to get reported for those.
A troll would be someone who clearly makes blunder after blunder, like sacrificing piece after piece for no compensation. A few blunders here and there would have to be accepted as legitimate.

I think this variant would be a good way to take a break and have some fun with chess. It definitely wouldn't be the most serious variant around. If Lichess implemented it I think they would be the first chess server to do so, which would be pretty cool.
