Playing tournaments

I don't see any restrictions on lower rated players entering tournaments. Is it Ok to enter and take a beating or is it considered poor etiquette?

Tournaments are open to players of all ratings. Enter away and have fun!

The tournaments are in area format, it will try to pair you up with players close to your position in the tournament standings list. It's firstly sorted by points in the tournament and secondarily rating.

I would highly encourage lower rated players to join, so that I may have a chance to win at least sometimes ;)

Jump in to the tournaments mate. No one cares what your rating is, just have fun! 🙂

No worry, you will get paired most of the time with players with similar strenght to yours.
